Travel is restricted so ensure that passengers have the correct documentation for one-way travel or longterm entry:
Transit in Johannesburg:
Inbound domestic connections permitted with a minimum connecting time of 2h30. Passengers with domestic connections to Johannesburg must collect baggage and meet the BA Representative at OR Tambo International Airport Terminal A no later than 08h45 on the day of departure. Alternatively inbound domestic passengers can arrive the previous day and book accommodation at own expense – The Garden Court Hotel OR Tambo on 0113921062 or GCORTambo.reservations@tsogosun.com
Transit in London:
Passengers in transit in London will require proof of an onward connection. For overnight connections, accommodation will be at own expense and passengers will be required to self-isolate until the departure of the connecting flight
Assembly point on day of departure:
Passengers are required to report to the assembly point between 06h00 and 08h30 and not go directly to OR Tambo International Airport

Once booked all passengers must complete the required forms as shown on

1.Download and complete the Customer Details Form [PDF 67 KB] Send a scanned copy to za.relief@ba.com at time of booking, but no later than 7 days before travel.
2. Download and complete the Exit Screening Questionnaire [PDF 148 KB] Print it out before travel, as this will need to be handed over to Port Health at the OR Tambo International Airport on departure
If the final destination is the UK, please ensure to visit www.gov.uk/uk-border-control to complete the contact locator form. Passengers who cannot produce this, may face prosecution or a fine by UK Border Force
Flights Close for Sale:
As required by the South African Government, flight sales will close 7 days prior to departure. Do not waitlist or request seats within 7 days of departure as these will not be confirmed
